• Micoud North and Micoud South
• Cul-De-Sac Industrial Zone
• Choc Estate

TAXES AND DUTIES EXEMPTED UNDER THE SDA ACT NO 2 OF 1998

• Import duty, stamp duty and consumption tax on inputs for the construction of new buildings and the renovation or refurbishment of existing buildings
• Land and house tax

• Stamp duty payable by vendors ad purchasers on the initial purchase of property, whether by nationals or non-nationals.

• Aliens Landholding Licence fee


Details for submission of Applications

Form must be accompanied by:
1. Bill of Quantities – authenticated by a reputable quantity surveyor
2. Site plan, drawings
3. Deed of sale

• Applications approved by the Minister for Finance
Must be used for approved project only
Must be verified by Customs
Approvals are published in the Saint Lucia Gazette


THE DEVELOPMENT AGENCIES ACT NO. 26 OF 1999

• Waiver of customs duties on importation of equipment and vehicles
• For non-national professional staff employed by the agency:
• Exemption from payment of Income Tax and other duties and taxes on all emoluments received by non national professionals:
1. Waiver of Travel Tax for official business overseas
2. Waiver of all customs duty on importation and exportation of all personal and household effects including one motor vehicle for expatriate staff


Details for submission of Applications

• Submission of a letter of request, accompanied by supporting invoices
• Vehicles and equipment must be procured for core operations of the agency
• Applications are approved by the Minister for Finance


TOURIST (DUTY FREE SHOPPING SYSTEM) ACT NO. 23 OF 1986

Approval or designation of specific locations for the operation of duty free shopping facilities
